Lemon Chiffon Cake

To me, chiffon cake is da easiest and da most hassle-free cake to be baked. I'd tried baking different flavour chiffon cakes like Orange Chiffon Cake and Pandan Chiffon Cake and da recent one which i baked 2 days back was da Lemon Chiffon Cake and this flavour will definitely be my all-time favourite!!!! ;)

Lemon Chiffon Cake's Recipe
Ingredients
  • 500g Chiffon Cake Mix (i'd used 250g cake mix)
  • 10 Large Eggs (i'd used 5 eggs)
  • 88g Water (i'd used 44g water)
  • 63g Corn Oil (i'd used 30g Olive Oil)

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 deg C
  2. Beat Chiffon Cake Mix, Water and Eggs on slow speed for 10 minutes
  3. Then high speed for 2 minutes
  4. Using slow speed to add in oil
  5. Pour into Chiffon Cake Tube Tin

Baking Time

  • 30 minutes

Oven Temperature

  • 180 degC (Bottom & Top)

    hmmmmm..it looks kind of small yeah....cause i used half of da ingredients only...:)



    Hohoho......yummylicious....look at da cut-out pieces....that was my yesterday's breakfast...:p
