Laksa Shack Cafe @ 1 Utama

As mentioned earlier, we were at 1 Utama for "Stay Alive". After collected da tickets, we had 45 minutes for dinner before da show started. As darling was craving for Assam Laksa, I then suggested to give this Laksa Shack a try since we didn't have much time. Laksa Shack Cafe, which is located at da ground floor of 1 Utama New Wing is an eating place that serves all sorts of laksa; from Penang Laksa to Bali Laksa. Looks like it's a gastronomical delight for Laksa lovers with an assortment of Laksa. Besides Laksa, they serves dishes like Roti Jala, Nasi Ulam Ayam Percik, Lontong and etc.

Laksa Shack, Da Laksa Specialist? ;)

Darling ordered da Penang Assam Laksa. Priced at RM 7.90 per bowl, we feel that it's a little bit overpriced cause it came in a very small portion. Darling mentioned that it was not really nice as da soup was kind of diluted. Not up to his expectation I guess. Perhaps, we can have a better and a cheaper one somewhere else..

As for myself, I ordered da Tom Yam Laksa which priced at RM 7.90 per bowl as well. Da broth was thick and strong but it was supa oily! Except for da supa oily soup and little noodles were given, it was quite yummylicious though...

Of the two, I must say that Tom Yam Laksa was better.

As for "Stay Alive", da movie which is based on a computer game and based on da true story of
Elizabeth Bathory definitely would not be a movie that I will recommend to da movie-goers. Thumb down for this movie as we were rather freaked out by da blood countess rather than da game.
