One Noodle @ Ss2

Last Saturday afternoon, darling and I had brunch at One Noodle Restaurant. Located at Ss2, it's another Hong Kong eatery which is just 2 doors away from Prince Cafe :) Da moment we went in, we were rather shocked as a matter of fact that da restaurant looked messy. I think they seriously need more well-trained staffs to attend da customers, to clean da tables and to clean da dishes as well cause when da food arrived to our table, there were no more chopsticks and we waited quite some time for them to wash and clean da chopsticks and hand it over to us. Hygiene wise, bad bad bad! Lotsa flies flying around in da restaurant and lotsa small ants crawling around on da floor. Yikes...

Oh boy, look at da tables and chairs. Messy and dirty isn't it? I guess that was da reason da flies were flying around like nobody business...

Food wise....

I had da Beijing Hot & Sour La-Mein which is priced at RM 7.80. Da gravy was fine but da noodle was not so good though. My point of view, da noodle's texture seems to be quite rough and not smooth enough.

My other half had da Chef's Special Soup La-Mein which is priced at RM 8.80. To my surprise, he mentioned that it was good and da only fallback would be da rough texture of da noodle.

In addition, we had Shanghai Steamed Dumpling (Siu Loong Pao) too. Priced at RM 6 for 4 pcs, it was quite good, juicy and definitely worth that price :) Yummy....

As for drinks, darling ordered Raspberry Ribena which priced at RM 4.80 per glass. Oooo not bad at all, it tasted exactly as mentioned in da menu ;)

While darling had da Raspberry Ribena, I ordered Rose Honey Green Tea instead which is also priced at RM 4.80. Hmmm... I must say that da drink was aromatic with rosy smell! A good combination with Honey and Green Tea :) *Slurp*

Generally, nothing much to shout about da food at One-Noodle. I personally think that da place is not clean enough and more well-trained staffs should be hired.

After brunch, while we were walking to Hai-O Store to get some Chinese Herbs......

We saw danger, a sign-board was about to fall! People around there went panic and drove their cars off! Dangerous... dangerous!!
