  • Grated rind of 1 Orange
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp freshly squeezed Orange Juice
  • 125g Self-raising Flour
  • 1/8 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Milk Powder
  • 50g Almond Flakes (optional)

  1. Grease sides and line da base of a cake tin with greaseproof paper
  2. Preheat oven at 170 degC
  3. Cream Butter, Sugar and Orange Rind until light and creamy
  4. Beat in Eggs one at a time, adding a little flour if the mixture begins to curdle
  5. Beat in Orange Juice until well combined
  6. Turn mixture out into prepared tin and level da surface with a spatula
  7. Sprinkle some Almond Flakes on top (optional)
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into the centre of da cake comes out clean
  9. Leave da cake to cool for 5-10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely

Ekekekeke.. a Love shape Orange Butter Cake :)

Da lovely Orange Butter Cake was then cut into half :(

First bite out of it, hmmmmmm..... yum yum! I definitely love da texture of this cake! Delicious ;)

hey j, it's best to only know how to eat cause if you know how to cook, you will be supa busy in da kitchen cooking and baking instead of going out to shop and have a nice cuppa with friends..:p
