Tiramisu, A Classic Italian Dessert

Tiramisu as means by 'pick-me-up' in Italian, has become an extremely popular Dessert that's now served in most Cafes and Restaurants. Being a Dessert lover, no doubt that Tiramisu has been my all-time favourite and I thought of why not I try to make one and see how it goes. Surprisingly, it turned out to be good and it's definitely not hard to make one. Let's check out da simple recipe as below and try it if you have da time. You will definitely enjoy making this yummylicious Italian Dessert ;)

Ingredients
  • 500g Mascarapone Cheese
  • 4 Egg Yolks, 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 cup of Strong Coffee
  • 100g Sugar
  • 1 small packet of Vanilla Sugar
  • 20-25 Lady Finger Biscuits
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder (sifted)
  • 1 tbsp of Kahlua (optional)
Method
  1. Mix Egg Yolks, Sugar and Vanilla Sugar
  2. Whip da Batter until it's creamy
  3. Slowly add in Mascarapone Cheese into da Batter
  4. Add in Kahlua to taste (optional)
  5. In another bowl, beat da Egg Whites and carefully mix them in
  6. Dip da Lady Finger Biscuits one by one in da Coffee
  7. Put a layer of soaked biscuits on a glass or on a bowl
  8. Cover them with a layer of Batter and then another layer of Biscuits and so on until there are 2 layers of Biscuits and 2 layers of Biscuits
  9. Refrigerate overnight
  10. Serve dusted sifted Cocoa Powder

Ooo lah lah, home-made Tiramisu all by myself. I was in jovial mood when darling commented that it was real good and yummy. Anyways, no matter how good it was for sure, it can never beat da one I had before at Delicious ;)
