Genting Highlands (Day 1)

Last weekend, darling brought my family up to Genting Highlands for a 2 days 1 night stay and it was fun fun fun! We stayed at Genting Theme Park Hotel as we've got vouchers with us where we paid only RM 128.88, inclusive of free breakfast for 2! Not bad, not bad.... definitely a good place to get away for cool air!

While on da way to Genting Highlands, I managed to capture half of a 140 feet tall statue of Hindu deity Lord Murugan which's located in Batu Caves.

1 hour later, we reached Genting Highlands and checked-in to da Genting Theme Park Hotel. Quite a spacious room with 2 queen size beds and 1 single size bed for 5 of us. Believe it or not, it was my first time staying at Genting Highlands after 15 years! When I was still a kid, I remember that there was once we stayed at this Ria Apartment with my aunty and my cousins which freaked us out that we no longer dare to stay at Genting Highlands. I couldn't really remember what actually happened though as it happened so many years back, but I will never ever forget that da lights in da apartment went off for few hours in da middle of da night and everybody screamed horrorly which left a nitemare to all of us. Anyways, it was rather different for this time as we all had a good night sleep :D

What happened? All my snacks were about to burst!

Our first stop was at Snow World in First World Plaza. Dad and mom didn't want to join us as they prefer to shop around instead of to be trapped in this Snow World under 4 deg.C! So so so so so cold wey......

While on da way to look for food, we found this cute Mascot! Moo moo moo....

We found Smarties too!!

There were free Chocolates for us, yum yum yummy...

Da free Chocolate tasting managed to tempt us buy and buy lotsa Chocolates home!!! ;)

Time for dinner and we had our meals at Only Yum Yum in First World Plaza ;)

Whoaa... lotsa food! Dimsum, Noodle, Porridge, Rice....

Dad, Mom and I had da same Claypot Yee Mee (RM 12++) Hmmm... it was yummy and da soup was real hot!

Since 3 of us already ordered da same thing, sis opt for da Hot Plate Noodle (RM 12++) instead and she commented that it was quite good :)

Darling wanted something different hence he went and ordered Ba Ku Teh (RM 20++). I had a few sips on da soup and it tasted really good. Not bad at all...

It was only 7pm right after dinner and we went inside Casino to get a taste of fun and excitement. No luck, no win, no gain :( and by 1am, we walked back to da Hotel to have a good night sleep. ZZZZZzzzzzZZzzzzz....

To be continued....
