Lunch @ The Coast, Hartamas Shopping Centre

Da day after darling came back from outstation, he was craving for Western food and I suggested to check out eateries at Hartamas Shopping Centre. We walked around and decided to try out The Coast as I remembered that Honey Star, J (Memoirs of a Chocoholic) and Boo_licious (masak-masak) reviewed this place before so I thought no harm to try it out at all ;) Da moment we stepped in, darling mentioned that da settings and decorations of this place look quite similar to TGIF and Chillis. I looked around and found out da same too but da staffs at this eatery, rather different as in all of them are guys/mens, no womens at all and in terms of size, all of them look quite similar too each though :)

We started off with Soup of The Day which was a Chicken & Mushroom Soup. Priced at RM 5 per cup, it was kinda small serving and it came with a piece of Garlic Toast. Loved it so much as it was served hot, creamy and hmmmm.. da moment I smelled into it, all good!

I went for da Tom Yam Seafood Spaghetti. Priced at RM 15, this Seafood Spaghetti was well tossed with some really spicy Tom Yam sauce. Served with a piece of Garlic Toast, Onions, chopped Capsicums, Tomatoes and garnished with some Basil Leaves, da pasta was kinda okay though. Not really a big portion but definitely managed to feed me full. Those who are unable to take spicy food, please be warned that do not order this, oooooo absolutely hot, sour and spicy!!!!!! :p

Darling was craving for meat hence he ordered da Grilled Lamb. Darling waited kinda long for this to be served as da staff came and told us that they over-cooked da Lamb! O_o hence they need another few more minutes to cook another one all over again! Priced at RM 28, look see right and left, not bad though as it served with a piece of Garlic Toast, Mashed Potato, Steamed Broccoli and Carrot. My other half mentioned that da sauce was good and he thought to ask for more but da staff warned us that they will charge us for da sauce! O_o hence no extra sauce :( I had a bite on da Grilled Lamb, hmmmmmmmm yum yum, da meat was absolutely tender! Minute later, I tried da Mashed Potato and to my surprised, it really tasted da same as those in Chillis! O_o whoaaa... I wonder if this Chef was previously from Chilis though cause it tasted exactly da same!

Overall, da food was kinda fine for both of us but we would still prefer to dine in at Chillis though with bigger servings ;)
