One afternoon while we were somewhere around Kepong, we decided to make a stop @ The Bird, Bandar Menjalara for a quick lunch. I remember I did once read an article bout this place from The Star and based on that, we finally managed to try their food for da very first time since they opened years ago.
On da ceiling, you can see lotsa Birds' Cage with light bulbs in it! Very creative way of putting on da lights!
Find this pretty nice too!!!!! Very warm lightings around da place but you will never feel warm or hot inside cause this place has got air-cond and fan as well!
Darling had Iced Tea (RM 2.50) which he has no comment at all. Must be not too good I think and I bet if you have it at those Chinese Kopitiam, it would definitely taste much better with a cheaper price of course ;)
We started off with da House "Taufu" (Beancurd) (RM 5.50) which was highly recommended by their Staff.
This's how their House "Taufu" looks like. Served with a small bowl of sauce, this stuffed "Taufu" is best eaten with da given sauce and I must say that it's quite special though. Good!
For mains, darling had Butter King Chicken with Rice. Priced at RM 6.50, my other hald mentioned that it was real good. Da Butter Chicken was very flavourful and creamy while da Steamed Rice was served hot. Not bad at all and if you are not into Chicken, you can actually opt for da Butter King Fish instead :)
While darling had Rice, da usual me went for da Tom Yam Bee Hoon with Fish. Priced at RM 13.90, it's stated in da menu that this's a must try selection and one can actually opt for Rice instead of Bee Hoon. At first before it was served to me, I thought that it's rather pricey but when it was brought to our table, whoaa... O_o so big portion! Da Tom Yam Bee Hoon, no doubt very yummy and da fish, it was actually a big "Kembong" Fish that they served! Other than that, it also came with one Fried Egg and some local Chips too. Well, that make sense why it's a must try selection ;)
Overall, quite a nice place though with good food and I think this place is halal-certified as I saw Malay diners around too. However, finding a car park around this place was rather hard as limited parkings available and I saw cars double-parking here and there. Do check out this place if you haven't ;)
