Darling's Birthday Dinner @ Cafe Cafe, KL

As you all know, last Saturday was my darling's birthday and as a girlfriend, other than giving him unconditional love, unconditional care and gifts, buying him a fine birthday dinner is a must I would say. I remember that his very 1st birthday celebration with me was at Luna Bar, a year later, it was at Frangipani and this year around, another wonderful birthday dinner at Cafe Cafe, Jalan Maharajalela Kuala Lumpur.

That evening, we reached there pretty early. As seen above, da picture was taken at 630pm and this's how CafeCafe looks like during sunset time :)

Since we reached there early, we decided to order a Bottle of Red Wine first. We took our own sweet time as we slowly went through da menu whilst enjoying da silky smooth Wine, awesome!

By da time we finished ordering, it was already closed to 730pm and this's how CafeCafe looks like when da night comes :)

With flash mode, perhaps a better view? Look at da bling bling shiny Crystal on top, I tell you they are really pretty that I couldn't stop eyeing them!

Buns are complimentary

Birthday boy wanted to try da Pan Seared Foie Gras and of course I couldn't say no although I've long ago found out da truth about Foie Gras. Well, I really felt bad having this greatest delicacies at that time but nevertheless, it was cooked in a wonderfully rich flavor and da silky smooth texture, just so yummy! Definitely one of da best besides da one we had before at Frangipani.

We then carried on with our second appetizer, a Wild Rocket Salad with Pear and Parmigiano. Da King of Cheeses (Parmigiano) was absolutely delicious and it was such a perfect match with da Roasted Pine Nuts. One good salad!

For Mains, Birthday Boy went for da Oven-Baked Cod Fillet with Honshimeiji Mushroom, Potato slice and White Truffles Sauce. By looking at da picture, you surely could see how fresh da Fish is and darling told me that it was da best Cod Fillet fish he ever tasted! I got to conclude that it was definitely a Grade A Cod Fillet as it possess good flavour and great odor, so fresh and delicious!

I went for a very simple dish which was a Pasta. For your information, they've a few selections and I opt to have Spaghetti with King Prawns, Sea Scallop, Squids with Sundried Tomato Pesto Spices and tossed with some Roasted Almond Flakes. Da Pasta was not bad, when it first served over, it was so so aromatic! As for da Spaghetti texture, I find it rather "home-made" kind, not da smooth one that we usually have at other places and it was a little bit rough. Well, still... a yummy one!

As you all know, I've got a sweet tooth and I've a great passion towards Italian dessert so how on earth that I would miss to order this yummy Tiramisu? No doubt, it was fantastic! Too bad that it was such a small piece that I seriously had no enough :( I wanna come back again for da Tiramisu! :D

For da Birthday Boy, a warm Hot Chocolate Cake with a scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream. See carefully, it's written there, Happy Birthday Bob! Awww... what a great staffs they have, they remember darling's name! Honestly speaking, I didn't expect them to remember his name, they were so thoughtful!!!!!!! Applause to them! :D Oh by da way, if you are there, this's definitely one masterpiece that you got to try. Wonderful, awesome, yummy! :D

Happy Birthday, My Darling :)

My Darling, promise you that for as long as I live, I am gonna spend this special day with you every year without fail! :)

Well, well, well, if you've yet to visit this place, please do go there asap especially for da lovey-dovey couples. I am sure that you guys and gals gonna enjoy da great food and wonderful atmosphere at this place. For your information, da dinner costed me RM 350++ with no regrets and that I will definitely come back! :D

Happy Belated Birthday to Bob! He looks like a contented guy esp after such a fantastic meal. I love the Tiramisu here, one of the best I have tasted and yeah, such a small piece but just the right amount of alcohol in it so it's not too soggy.

4 b'day celebrations? Roman calendar, Chinese, Indian & Muslim ones too.
I see this place often. All black outside. Always felt like its location is quite odd for such an upmarket restaurant.
