Face To Face @ Damansara Perdana

Our initial plan for last Saturday's lunch was supposed to be at TK Chong Restaurant but most unfortunately when we saw da long queue and crowd, we decided to walk off and make a stop at Face To Face Restaurant instead as I remember Whistler of PasanKia blogged about it before. For your information, this place serves all kinds of "PanMee", Sarawak Noodle and some light snacks as well.

All kinds of Chili that could burn you up!!!!!!!

Darling and I ordered da Dried Hot & Spicy Chili "PanMee" since it's stated as house specialty.Priced at RM 4.30 per bowl, it's served with Minced Pork, Anchovies and a Sunny Side-up Egg. Apparently we were told by one of da Staff to add da Chilies into our "PanMee" but darling accidentally over-added them! O_o needless to say, it was so hot and hot, spicy and spicy for his bowl of Noodle! I was way smarter that I slowly poured da Chilies over my "PanMee" and I think that da noodle's texture was fine, tasted not bad except for darling's one which was already over-spicy! Another thing, please be warned da "PanMee" comes in a very small portion that.....

Darling wasn't that full and ordered another bowl of "CharCheung" Braised Pork "PanMee". Well, darling claimed that it was okay but still think that da one he had earlier was much better.

That afternoon, mom was with us too but she already had lunch earlier so she decided to order da Soup Dumpling only. Priced at RM 3.50 for 5 pcs, mom seemed to like it alot cause da Soup was hot while da Dumpling filled with generous amount of Prawns and Minced Pork.

If you do not have high expectation towards da Chili "PanMee" and by not comparing it with da famous one at Kin Kin Restaurant, do drop by this place. For me, I would prefer this place than Kin Kin Restaurant cause it's much nearer and at least, need not join da jam-ness around that area. However, I think that we would be much happier and satisfied if they serves more Noodles cause frankly speaking, they are no enough although if you are one small eater ;)

xiulongbao, O_o definitely not that bad to da extend that need to puke... i think that it's kinda a good place for those who stays far away from da kl city when one craves for da spicy "panmee"...

kok, i am not too sure about that but it's stated in da menu as sarawak noodle though... great to know that you could take da extra spicy chilies! i am sure you gonna enjoy it...

citygal, sorry to let you know that i've never try da BouBou "panmee" before as i hardly hang out around that area... mind to let me know where da exact location of this boubou rest?

hi, i came across your blog just a while ago and saw xiu long bao's mention on my post..think i need to clarify a lil here..:) my frens wanted to puke as they found the food too rich (u know, rasa muak?). so, it was not bcoz it tastes bad..hehe.. though the food is only mediocre la..;)

sc, am sorry to hear that but why "muak"? i am not too sure bout other food at this place but that day, we only had "panmee" and dumpling. my mom is a very picky person when comes to food and she didn't complain anything that day so i thought it was fine...

meiyen, coz one of my fren had curry panmee and she found the santan too rich and sweet(but not spicy). as for my other frens, guess they put too much chilli to their panmee, hence, it was too oily (with chilli oil) at one point that they feel nauseated. i was the only one who was ok as i didnt add that much chilli to my panmee..
