Dine Our Way To Max! Kitchen & Wines @ Jalan Tengkat Tong Shin

Apparently, we'd been wanting to try Max! Kitchen & Wines for a long time and we finally made our way to this place for a scrumptious dining experience last Friday.

We sat down and had some complementary Bread served with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar ;)

Hmmmm from da menu, I realised that no Soup for darling hence we went for Chargrilled Portobello Mushrooms which we thought it was really good and yummy! Served with marinated Pepper and Eggplant, must admit that we heart this Appetizer very much. Priced at RM 22, darling commented that it's a little bit pricey but I personally think that it's reasonable cause of its big portion :)

Earlier, Preciouspea recommended to try da Lamb but end of da night, I decided to have Poached Cod with Lemon-Butter sauce. Priced at RM 35, I thought it was absolutely fantastic! A simple Lemon Butter makes a tangy creamy sauce for this delicate fish which definitely has my vote, thumbs up!

I believe that this's a very popular main course at Max!, favourite among Beef lovers and my fiance definitely would'nt want to miss out ordering this Shiraz Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek with Mushroom Ragout (RM 60). Served with Conmeal mushed, darling exclaimed with delight that it was flavourful and da tenderness of da Beef Cheek, ohhhh so good! Silly darling even said that it would be nice to have a side bowl of rice to accompany with da sauce, lol.....

That night, we didn't order any Dessert. I was rather tipsy after a glass of White Wine and to those of you who've yet to make a stop @ Max!, please do so! Or maybe...... let's have another food bloggers meet-up here? :p

You missed the lamb!!! Hahaha...guess the cod was good too, I will try it next visit. Hubby also said the wagyu beef cheek goes well with rice...but you can actually ask for more bread to dip the gravy. Guess i forgot to tell you that. Next time ask Bob to try Wagyu Tenderloin..sure no regrets!
