Tea Time @ San Terri Cottage, Hartamas Shopping Centre

We went to Hartamas Shopping Centre last Sunday and to our surprise, there's this Thai Fair on da highest floor of da mall. We walked slowly, look see here and there, found out that there's one small booth of Foot Reflexology. Off, we seated ourselves inside and enjoy da greatness of da Foot Massage :D Ooooo... not bad, da massues are good and really affordable, only RM 35 per hour! Other than this Foot Reflexology, you will get to see and try many kinds of Thai Food too where you can grab them at a very low price. So, wait no more and go for it cause this Thai Fair gonna end this coming 22nd May.

After da Foot Massage session, we walked down to San Terri Cottage for a cuppa. Located on da first floor (near da escalator), I admit that I kinda like this place, mostly because of its Lavenda color theme, soothing and serene! :)

We shared a pot of Golden Jasmine Tea with Petals. Oh this Tea is so good that I can still remember da scent till now. Smooth and nice, definitely gonna order this again! :)

Almost everyone loves da elegance of a Fruit Tart with its topping of beautiful fresh Fruits and I immediately hooked to it da moment I saw this fresh Strawberry lying on top of da Tart. This Strawberry Tart somehow has my vote as I like da Cream Cheese filling in it covered with flaky crust but my other half wasn't satisfy and he complaint something like this, "just because of a little Strawberry on top of da tart, it's then named as Strawberry tart?" I think he was right because da Tart has got no Strawberry flavouring. Then again, I still like it. Sinfully good and yummy!

We also shared a small piece of Green Tea Cake. Thumbs up for this light and moist Cake that isn't too sweet and has a refreshing Green Tea fragance. Lovely, lovely, I am loving it! :D

Besides Cakes and Pastries, San Terri Cottage also offering variety of Sandwiches and Beverages. If you are bored with places like Starbucks, CoffeeBean and etc., I recommend you to try this place. For your information, da total bill came at RM 22 only which we both think that, it's quite reasonable :)

hi meiyen, thanks for popping by :). the green tea cake looks lovely..hehe..have to agree with bob on his theory on the strawberry tart though..:)

Haha, Bob the Builder sure has rallied up some support over here.
A Strawberry Tart that's got more strawberry in it's name than in the tart. Even calling it a tart looks like a stretch. :p

Oh btw, u've got Spyruxwindchaser linked up twice in Moi Friends link list.

fbb, yeah... and he mumbled non-stop over it :p

sc, da cakes are lovely.. do try them!

awh. you aren't gonna tag me twice? XD haha. obi-kwan and i are pretty much different in almost all major aspects, he cant possibly be me ^^
well, u call a red coloured car a red car, and a tea with green leaves as green tea, why not a huge starberri on a cake called starberri cake? :D

I heard bob is head hunting who i am. o_o oh noes...

Syprux: No worries la Syprux. Better to just say ur prayers and take ur vitamins cos when bob wears his Evilrob shirt, he'll turn all RoboBob on ur big behind. Then cook it like Chef Wan... Chef Bob Wan that is. :p

MY: U've got a really good memory there. Altho i dun rmb introducing myself at that time. All I rmb was u were waiting for Bob while holding a brown doggy bag and Bob mentioning that u brought him breakfast. Must be some 'ho liao' in there. :)
How i found ur site? I chanced upon ur site when I was looking for a good place to hav my bday dinner. Randomly clicked on a link from another food blog and as they say, the rest is history.
A pleasant surprise was when i found out u r Bob's darling! Noticed a high occurrence of the word 'darling' in ur posts, so I wondered whoz d lucky guy. Lo n behold, found a pic of u both with Bob flashing his 'luckiest man alive smile.' :D

Green tea cake looks yummy leh... Feel like taking a bite on it. haha!

citygal, go, go, go! hope that you gonna like da cakes at this place ;)

spyruxwindchaser, a mistake i made! :p physically, it makes sense to call it a strawberry tart by just looking at it but when we had a bite on it and found out that it tasted like a normal tart without any flavouring or should i say, it tasted like vanilla then we became doubtful ;) oh by da way, it's right to call a red coloured car as red car cause da whole car is red! considering that it has only 5% strawberry on da tart, i don't think we should call it as strawberry tart :p maybe... a Vanilla Tart with Strawberry topping lol... oh by da way, bob told me your name! :D

preciouspea, they've honey cake?! how come i didn't see it da other day? must try it then.. :D

obi-kwan, you should ask uncle bob to cook you a nice meal, he's a great cook! :p and omg, you called that as "brown doggy bag" sobz... :p pathetic, didn't you noticed that i was so lonely that time and he looked so serious with his game that i dare not to even disturb him! bad enough, i was a completely stranger there not knowing what to do... luckily there was a chair for me! :p oh by da way... is da magic game really that great? with international ranking as well??! cool......

wmw, da place is cosy.... good to have a cuppa! :D

kok, when are you inventing a sugar-less cake? :p

Had some probs trying to post my prev comment yday. Had to close and re-open ur blog page several times. Probably Streamyx (it's the easiest to blame. ;p)

Well, it looked like a brown take-away bag, or like those they use to pack Roti Boy buns, brown paper bag. Only u and Bob knows what's inside. All I can do is speculate, hehe.
Hey, that's a good idea. Must 1 day have a cook-out with all the Magic kakis, a gathering that is not Magic related. Have alwayz wanted to do something like that.
Poor MY, ya i noticed that u were lonely. Guess that was the 1st and last time u'll wait for Bob at a Magic tourney.
No wonder he dun play big tournies, citing 'no fame involved' as the reason but we know better rite? *wink* ;-)
It's a cool game, very much an international game as there are major tournaments all over the world. Spanning from USA to Europe to Japan to Australia and even here. It's a healthy game that young and young-at-heart can play and be good at. Even the shop auntie once said: "Better to let the guys have a hobby, like Magic, to be involved or the eyes go roaming else where." (Something like that. Translated from Cantonese. :p)
So did u try learning the game?

i think they didn't make the cakes themselves because it looks similar of those from RT pastry. even Leo's have cakes that looks similar. i believed RT pastry doest the supplying.

MeiyeN said...

jackson, yeah.. my first time drinking tea where seeing da jasmine flower blossom itself.. :D

obi-kwan, yeah.. should be cause i received 3 same comments from you :)
that take-away bag was actually sandwich from coffee-bean :p oh i actually don't mind waiting for him... but when i realised that there were no gals at that time, i was rather scared! can you imagine that da moment i opened da door, all da eyes looking at me shockingly....:p oh uncle bob did tried to teach me and played few times, find it quite complicated :p i know it's a healthy game, that's why i never say no to him whenever he wanna meet you guys for a game or two :) we shall see if he dares to roam elsewhere :p oh remember to invite me if you are organizing that cook-out event lol.....

xiulongbao, yeah... what a coincidence but too bad, i didn't get to see you :(

teckiee, it seems like they always come in a pair, green tea with red beans..... :D

bejewelled, oh really? am not too sure about that... where's RT?

my name has been revealed~! Oh noes. The horror! The HoRrOR~!! (roiling horror to be exact).
Haha, as kwan said, Bob would get rather serious during magic games. Perhaps a bit overtly serious.. (kwan, remember his 'legendary' 3 land hand play?)n yeah, it has rather limited number of gals indulging in this, so u needn't worry about Bob having wandering eyes during gaming sessions xD (unless his preference begins to resemble that of kwan...)Let's all meet up sometime, shall we. Maybe over food and debate over starberri cakes. ^^

meiyen,
Sugarless cake ah? After I graduate? haha! Let me do some research first. Who knows it's already in the market? :P

Obi-Kwan Kenobi said...

Hehe, well girls do play but only a handful get serious in the game and play more competitively. Tho there seems to be a higher amount of girls who play during the prerelease tournaments held at Cititel, Mid Valley. It's a tournament that let's us preview the upcoming set and play with the cards. Alwayz a tournament that many look 4ward to.
All those eyes looked at u shockingly but i'm sure those eyes turned a shade of envious green when they saw Bob with ya. Haha...
Bob has made quite a name for himself in the local Magic store scene, he has patented and keyworded play styles. :p
Really should hav like a BBQ cook-out, Bob the Cook with a "Kiss the chef" apron? *Let that be d last thing u think of before going to bed* ;p
Make it a potluck kinda thing as well, then strawberry tarts are a welcome addition to the array.
Sounds good?

sypruxwindchaser, i somehow have problems typing your nick.. so automatically.. s-p-y! :p O_o what's all about da legendary 3 land hand play? tell me about it... what? he has some extraodinary martial arts that i don't even know? lol.... yeaps, good idea to meet up for a meal... you got to arrange with uncle bob! :)

kok, let's see... tell me about it once you graduate and i shall spread da words for you! :D

obi-kwan, oh... talk about da cititel thingy... i think we were at midvalley that sunday and he did tell me about it but we had no chance to pay you guys a visit cause we were busy with something else :) O_o oh really? he's so famous? i didn't know that! :D but i know there's an international ranking which he showed me before..... pot luck is a good idea, let you and spyrux arrange with bob....and i will be therE! :D
