While we were somewhere around Bandar Menjalara, Kepong one afternoon, we decided to have a quick lunch at this Al Barkath Mamak Restaurant which located quite near to The Bird and few roads away from La Casa Cafe.
Started with a plate of "Keropok". Darling seemed to like it...
Since it was our first time trying this place, we didn't expect much and surprisingly my piece of "Roti Telur" turned out to be so yummy! I absolutely loved da crispy and fluffy texture of it and it's best eaten with.....
Mutton Curry which was excellent! Best of all, no fat cut... tasty and I loved it! :D
Darling had a plate of "Maggie Mee Goreng", nothing special, quite standardized... ;)I guess there aren't many Mamak stalls and restaurants around this area. So, if you stay or work nearby here, why not give them a try as this place is quite hygiene, worth da money (our lunch costs less than RM 10) and quite cooling too even though it was a superbly hot day when we were there :)

A very good roti telur is hard to find. I'd given hope until now. You gave me hope.
the mutton curry looks so delicious and here comes the giant mee goreng! heheheheh!

Dun forget the nicely fried plate of poppadams, i mean 'keropok'. :p
I hate & love Al-Barkath same time. Good, convenient & comfortable environment. But some food are very expensive. Never order maggie soup there coz they change RM3.50, which is very very expensive! The waiter will keep mumbling non-stop if you order drinks without food.
