Economy Fried Noodles & Dessert @ Choi Loong Restaurant, Paramount Garden

I hope that all of you had a good weekend. Am having Monday blues again, feeling really lazy to work but oh well, Merdeka holiday was awesome for me though. I managed to spend some quality time with my family, with fiance's family as well, had fun going out with my fiance's nieces and most of all, I had enough of rest and food! :D As for today, am going to blog over this usual place that me and my parents love going to whenever we crave for some cheap and affordable fried noodles and dessert. This stall, which is run by an old lady has been occupying one small corner in Choi Loong Chicken Rice Restaurant @ Paramount Garden for quite some time now, years I think and it's open daily from 230pm till 4pm or until all items were sold.

We usually order Fried "BeeHoon" and have it one plate to another when we were feeling hungry. Priced at RM 1.50, each plate comes with generous amount of noodles, fried Omelette, Bean Sprouts and "Choy Sam". If you don't like "BeeHoon", no worries as you can choose to have Fried "Mee" instead and it tastes good too!

Besides Noodles, da Steamed Yam Cake is also our favourite here and it's selling like hot cakes. We absolutely love this version of Rice Flour mixed with Water steamed together with Yam cubes as to compare with those using shredded Yam instead. Priced at RM 1.50 per piece, it's served with dried Shrimps and chopped Spring Onion, yummy!

Typical Chinese like us love "Tong Sui" and I personally love da Red Bean Soup which is creamy and not too sweet for my liking, yumzz!

My dad and mom would usually order da Wheat version which is equally good as da Red Bean "Tong Sui". Other than da above, if Sweet Black Glutinous Rice "Hak Loh Mai" is one of your favourite Dessert, give it a try! No expensive, da "Tong Sui" costs da same... RM 1.50 per bowl and trust me, you gonna return for more :)

If you think that having Cheese Cakes, Cup Cakes, Muffins and Ice Blended Drinks way too expensive for a normal tea time, do drop by this place for cheap and yummy Fried Noodles and "Tong Sui", sure no regrets! :D

mycoffee, if you are coming from O & S Restaurant, at da traffic light, turn right and quickly keep to your left and turn left, then turn right... go all da way straight till you see Choi Loong Chicken Rice Restaurant (corner shop).. actually it's not that hard to locate this coffee shop cause it's located right opposite da main road.... da chicken rice restaurant is open da whole day but this aunty who's selling fried noodles and "tong sui" only starts to operate at 230pm.. give it a try and let me know what ya think okay ;)
