Tony Roma's @ Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara

Having heard so much about Tony Roma's, I was quite eager to try them ever since they opened their first outlet in Sunway Pyramid but since I hardly shop around this area, there was a delay. Well, am just not da kind of person that would purposely go into a shopping mall just because I wanna try a new restaurant unless there's a special case where da food is tremendously good :) Anyways, I am more than happy to find out that they opened another outlet at Cineleisure not long ago. Good, near where I reside and we finally gave them a try on Monday night.

Complimentary Baguette, love da superbly cold Butter!

No reason for my other half not to try da Ribs here since they are so popular with it. What darling ordered was a plate of Bountiful Beef Ribs. Priced at RM 48.90 for a Roma Rack and RM 68.90 for da Full Rack. Da difference, they serve 3 Ribs for da Roma Rack and 5 Ribs for da Full Rack. Wooo...... big portion and da Ribs no doubt, very meaty (through my observation and no, I didn't have a single bite of it!) and I questioned darling how good it was. Surprisingly he didn't say much. All he told me was, "It's served cold!". I continued to ask, "What about da taste?" He said, "Not too good, not too bad. Maybe I expect too much since everyone says that da Ribs here are good."

Not may choices for me since I don't take Beef. I went for Shrimp Scampi Pasta. Priced at RM 29.90, I must say that this's definitely worth a try. Yes, expensive but da portion is superbly huge. If you gals must order this, please make sure that you have someone to share with you or else, I am pretty sure you won't be able to finish it all alone, no matter how big eaters you are :) I lost count on how many fresh Prawns I had, most probably more than 20 Shrimps! Tastes wise, oh my........ supa dupa cheesielicious! I smelt cheese throughout da night after having this plate of gigantic Scampi Pasta :D

No dessert, we were very full after our mains. Da only complain that I wanna highlight, service was very and extremely slow, we waited quite some time for them to take our orders and that was after we waved non-stop to da staffs, how pathetic! Don't ask me why but I just feel that this's not da place that darling and I would come frequently like how we frequent TGIF and Chilis. Well, no feel.... end of story ;)

what i heard is the outlet at Pyramid serves better food as the kitchen staff are being trained by the pro whereas the staff at cineleisure are being trained by the Pyramid staff... so...i guess little things lost they way from one hand to another to another ~ =.="

Hi mei yen,
Pyramid's outlet is definately better in their service. The last time I was there, the waiters were really nice, polite and fast in serving. Their chocolate avalanche is sinfully good too! Btw, Im a big fan of ur blog :)

Halal rite? Somehow, i wasn't too keen on trying this place. Like you say, Sunway Pyramid a bit out of the way.

We were experimenting on their menu last night at Cineleisure and the Malay receptionist nearby the entrance was looking at us with some suspicious stare! WTH... is it wrong to look at the menu?

tried twice, the side dishes were bland or tasteless. onion loaf was not sweet, fried mushrooms was ultra salty and oily. rack was ok only. i'd rather have ribs at las carretas. not going to have TR in Msia any more, if I wanna have TR, it'll be overseas for the porky stuff ;)

sc, yessss... da rack was okay only as what my fiance said!
