Affordable Seafood Steamboat @ Mak Koh Restaurant, Bangsar

Need not to mention much, I am pretty sure that whoever frequents Bangsar would definitely know where is Mak Koh Restaurant. Located at Jalan Telawi 2, Mak Koh Restaurant has been operating here for many years and is said to serve pretty good Seafood and local delights. Do not be surprised that many "ang mohs" and visitors from other countries drop by this place for a scrumptious meal and that's based on my own observation that many times I passed by this Restaurant, da crowd just never failed to amaze me and finally, we decided to give it a try!

Different kinds of Appetizer that they serve. Shame on me that I couldn't rectify what Beans and which kind of marinated Vegetable were that and it seems to be good, very appetizing!

Rather than to order different dishes to try, we went for Seafood Steamboat. It's great to know that we were able to choose da Soup based as per our liking. One can opt for Tom Yam Soup, da normal Clear Soup and Herbal Soup. From da picture above, it's spotted that we actually went for da Herbal Soup, absolutely flavourful and we definitely could sense that da sweetness of da soup came mainly from "Gei Zhi" (Wolfberries) and dried Red Dates, yum!

Look, abundance serving of mouthwatering Seafood and it's no expensive, only RM 18 per pax and da above serving is for 2 persons. Lotsa Clams, Squids, Mussels, Prawns, even sliced of Cod Fish were served! :D

Something not to be missed in a Steamboat meal, Noodles and Eggs! However, they don't serve "Bee Hoon" though... maybe they should just provide half da Noodles and half "Bee Hoon" to accommodate different peoples' taste buds as I believe that most people do fancy having "Bee Hoon" than da "Yee Mee". No?

So people, if you are nearby Bangsar area and craving for Steamboat, no, you don't have to travel all da way to da place that's famous for Steamboat but you can have it right here and take my words, they are pretty affordable yet delicious! :D

Em.. I think that is called "kacang kuda".

Same as WMW, we tend to be very "rugi" to have steamboat cos we don't fancy seafood much :p
